The Prisoner of the Tides
“She was never meant to walk on land. She does it anyway, because you asked her to.”
Neiva is the Primordial of Water, pulled out of The Prisoner of the Tides and dropped into Skyrim with everything intact: her voice, her scythe, her temper, and the sea she can still turn back into. This is not a face on a vanilla follower — it is a full companion mod with its own quests, its own marriage, and a voice type recorded for nobody else.

Her nine speaking parts include a voice type written for her alone — the rest belong to the characters she talks to.
Install the requirements below. SKSE and FNIS or Nemesis are not optional — her transformation and her animations both go through them.
Install the mod with a manager — Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex — and let the plugin load after your body and skin mods.
Run the animation patcher, build the body in BodySlide, then go and find her. She is not waiting in an inn.
Install her on a fresh save, or at least on one where she has never been loaded before. Her quests run on scripts, and Skyrim bakes scripts into the save — adding or removing her mid-playthrough is the usual way to end up with a broken quest line.
Neiva speaks in a voice type built for her: FemaleNeivaVoice.
Every line is recorded, cut and lip-synced — greetings, combat, banter on the road, the quiet
things she says when nothing is happening, and the arguments she starts when something is.
The characters she meets along the way are voiced too. That is where the other 314 lines went.
Take her into deep water and the legs go. The mermaid form is a real transformation — its own body, its own swim animations, its own movement speed — and it holds for as long as she stays under.
It is not only hers, either. The transformation can be handed to the player, and there is a lure that does to drowned sailors roughly what you would expect.
A quest line of her own, running from Winterhold down to Ivarstead, with scenes that take the weather with them.
She can be married, and the ceremony is her own — written, staged and voiced, not handed off to the vanilla one.
Her weapon is summoned, not carried. It arrives when she needs it and leaves when she does not.
Hair and cloth run on SMP, weighted so they move with her instead of trailing a second behind.
Her eyes are a mesh and a texture made for her face, and they ship as a separate add-on if you want them elsewhere.
An animation add-on gives her her own idles and walk, so she is recognisable across a room before she speaks.
BodySlide files for her outfits, plus a UBE replacer made with Sabby for players on that body.
An optional add-on hands her to Mantella, so she can hold conversations past the ones that were written.
None of these are required. Take the ones you want and leave the rest — she works without any of them.
Her outfits as BodySlide files, so they build to whatever preset you already use.
Her idles, her walk, and the way she stands when she is waiting for you to decide something.
Opens the mermaid transformation up beyond Neiva — the player, or any actor you point it at.
Gives Mantella her personality and her history, so what it improvises still sounds like her.
Her eyes as a standalone set, with a version patched for CVEO.
Her body rebuilt on UBE, for players who have moved off CBBE and 3BA.
Physics-driven jewellery and trim, weighted for her frame.
Check the version numbers on the download page before installing — the SKSE requirement moves with the game.
