Twenty seconds she posted — the preset moving, rather than held still.
Years ago someone commented on a post of mine on Instagram. She went by Mara&Dibella, and over the months that followed she taught me how to actually mod this game — how to read a crash, how to fix what I had broken, how to light a character so that she looks like herself.
She was building this ENB at the time. It was unfinished, and she was funding the work through Patreon while she finished it, alongside clothing mods and everything else she made. She had plans for it. One day, talking about which preset shot the best screenshots, she shared it with me — hers to lend, mine to use, and she showed me how to get the most out of it.
Then she stopped answering. Days, then weeks. The posts stopped, the Patreon came down, and she went quiet on everyone — not only on me. She left the Skyrim community without saying goodbye, and I still do not know what happened to her, or where she is.
I kept it for over a year, waiting for her to come back and finish it.
On 1 December 2023 I stopped waiting and released it, so that her name stays somewhere this community can still see it.
She never asked me to publish it. That decision was mine, taken in her absence, and I took it because a preset nobody can download is a preset that disappears along with her. If she comes back, or if anyone who knew her would rather it came down, it comes down.
It is still unfinished. That is not a fault in it — it is where she left it.
